The nearest international airport is Prince Mohamed Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Medina, located 354 kilometres away from Al-Ula. The route can be further shortened to 250 kilometers by using the service of airlines like Flynas.
The other option Apart from air transportation is road and rail. Using a reliable car or bus service is one of the cheapest and most efficient ways to get to Al-Ula from a nearby town and city. The total distance between Al-Ula and Riyadh can be covered in about five and half hours by car or bus. The Saudi Railway Company also operates several trains daily between Jeddah and Riyadh City, making a stop at Al-Ula.
